Who teaches your child?

Professional Coaches and eligible coaches (Program Assistants) who have been certified at special Skate Canada coaching clinics are responsible for your child’s learning.

A Professional Coach is a person hired by the Club to teach the fundamentals of skating.  A Professional Coach will be on the ice at all times to the best of their ability.

Eligible coaches assist the Professional Coaches in the running of programs.

Where is the Club Office located?

Our skating office and music room are located on the upper level, overlooking the Almas arena.  Please feel free to drop in if you have any questions or suggestions.

Communication

Club newsletters are published and distributed monthly. Newsletters contain very important information regarding date or time changes as well as upcoming events.  Please read them carefully.

There are monthly Executive/Board meetings to discuss the ‘business’ of the Club.  It is encouraged for parents of all levels of skating to attend these meetings.
